The currency of Estonia is the Estonian Kroon. It's code is EEK. According to our data, EUR to EEK is the most popular Kroon exchange rate conversion. From the 15 January 2011, the currency is no longer legal tender.

The most frequently used banknotes in Estonia are: 2, 5, 10, 25, 100, 500 krooni. The Estonian Kroon was replaced by the Euro.
FACT 3:
The Kroon was introduced in 1924 and pegged to the Swedish Krona until it was exchanged for the Soviet Ruble in 1940. Reintroduced as the Estonian currency in 1992, the Kroon was again replaced by the Euro in 2010.
